Topic 4 - Good neighbor - Nghia

Neighbors are the people live near us. To have a good relationship with them, we have some characters to become good neighbors and they as well. We have some different criteria to evaluate quality of our neighbors. In my point of view, I strongly think that the good neighbor must possess some characters as: Helpfulness, friendship and respectfulness. Let me clarify it as follow.

First and foremost, what I put in my priority is friendship. It can be seen that it is easy to get acquainted with others and feel comfortable if they are friendly. Neighbors are people who we meet regularly. If they are friendly, call out a greeting and smile with me just “good morning” or “have nice day” whenever I go out for to work, I will feel contented and energized to work. Moreover, living beside friendly neighbors, It is easy to me share the common interests with them. And sometimes, I can hold some small party, inviting them go to my house to tight the relation between two families. Therefore, living beside friendly neighbors, I will feel more comfortable and have good relation as well as network.

In the second place, my favorite neighbors are who don’t intervene and complain my work, family or other interests. I always appreciate the respectful neighbors. Because each family has its life, therefore neighbors should respect the other private lives. I will feel unpleasant if my neighbors complain the color of my house. In addition, neighbors should respect others by their action. I will be crazy if my neighbors listen to loud music at midnight. So to keep good relationship, neighbors should respect others and don’t bother them.

Last but not least, what deserve my attention is helpful. It will be great if I have neighbors whenever I need their help. I can imagine that how I am happy when I run out of money and I need money to do many things. And my neighbors give money to me when I ask them for it. Another example, I have to travel for business and don’t have anyone at home. I will be worried about my house and furniture when I leave. But it will be solved if my neighbors keep eye on my house. In the fact that I will feel secure if I have helpful neighbors living beside my house.

To sum up, we will feel comfortable and secure when we live with good neighbors. They are not only respect our lives and help our whenever we have trouble, but also make us feel comfortable when live beside them. I think that we have to become a good neighbor if we want to get the return.
