Topic 2: Change one thing in the hometown

Infrastructure plays an important role in developing economic and living condition. It will be more advantageous for these factors below if the infrastructure is good and planning in long – term. But in my hometown, Hanoi, the road system, electronic net, drain and water system is in downgraded condition. Therefore, if I could change one thing in my hometown, I would change the infrastructure. Let me clarify it by following reasons.

First and foremost, what I put in my priority is attraction of foreign investors. Nowadays, the town need more investments to develop especially from foreign investors. It can be easy to see that the infrastructure is one crucial factor to entrepreneurs consider whether invest the money in the area or not. If the town has good infrastructure, which will attract more investors. Because the good road system means that the transportation is more convenient and easy to carry the goods to other places. For this reason, the investor will save more money for transportation and reduce their price of goods. It is not only benefit for their business, but also benefit for the customers. Moreover, electric is always important factor to produce as well as other operations. Hence, the investors always care about electronic supply whether is stable or not.

In the second place, what deserves my attention is living standard. It is apparent that the infrastructure affects people’s living standard widely and deeply in the town. In Hanoi, in each summer, the electric is always in shortage condition, which not only affects to manufacturing of enterprises, but also affects to people’s life. It is clearly seen that how the shortage of electric affects to people’s life. We can imagine that how inconvenient when in the hot weather people don’t have electric to use the fan, make the ice and run the pump … the people’s life will up-side down due to the shortage of eclectic. Moreover, when the rainy reason coming, the road is like a river after the heavy rain. It is hard to transport in that condition. It will be more awkward if the authority don’t upgrade the infrastructure.

To sum up, changing the infrastructure not only help improving people’s living condition, but also help the town attracting more investors. A citizen in the town, I hope I can see economic development and high living standard in the near future through upgrading the infrastructure.
