A person's childhood years are the most important years of a person's life. Do you agree?

Whether a person’s childhood years are the most important years of a person’s life has greatly attracted much social concern. Some people think the teenage years are the most important, others think the early twelve years are the most important years of a person’s life. In my point of view, I agree with the latter by some reasons. Let me clarify it by following essay.

First of all, what I put on my priority is building personality. It is apparent that the early twelve years of a person’s life is time to the person can build personality. Children are easily affected in this period by the environment that they live with. Behavior, characteristic of children will affect to how they act in the future. For example, if the children are brought up in happy family and the parent love them very much; they will be good people. In the contrary, if the children are raised up in the mess atmosphere at home and lack of care of their parent, they will be become selfish and irresponsible people. Indeed, this period is very important to shape personality of children especially atmosphere in the family.

In the second place, building social skill hold no less important role in a person’s childhood years. It is clearly seen that before become teenager, children develop social skill through education and relationships. Children, at this period, go to school to learn basic social skills that they need in whole their life. And at that environment, they can meet and make friend with other peers and they need how to keep and develop the relationships. If they can learn this at early of twelve years of their life, they will learn a lot of necessary skills that they will need throughout rest of academic and working life.

In conclusion, a childhood years are most important years of person’s life, it is not only to build personality, but also to build children’s social skills. Children at this age should be cared, taught reasonably along with made happy atmosphere in the family.
