The high income of famous athletes and entertainers has greatly attracted much social concern. Many people argue that those athletes and entertainers should not deserve such lucrative benefits. Personally, I strongly oppose that argument.
First and foremost, what I put in my priority is the job requirements. It cannot be denied that, without a long and rigorous practicing process, no one can be a famous athlete or entertainer. Certain achievements need certain passion, energy, determination and, one very essential factor, hard work. That’s why just some football players among millions can be named. More notably, in order to be successful in sports and arts, one should receive well training from specialized professional environment. Being famous in the mentioned fields means one has to show a highly professional performance in a certain period of time. The official training programs and the practice of on-the-job training cost them not only a great amount of money but also time and efforts. Indeed, those demanding professions should have worthy benefits to maintain the high quality performance.
In the second place, country contribution holds no less important role in the athletes and entertainers’ success. The fact is that, for every big event like the Olympics, the participated countries must finance the crew in course of preparation and competition. The athletes should be considered as, of course, critical elements and they worth necessary investments. Moreover, their victory and glory create widespread inspirational feelings and motivations. These results will lead to the inspiration and success of the community and inspire everyone for the good. Without doubt, the honors these athletes bring about are of great value and they should be appropriately awarded.
Last but not least, their personal sacrifice draws much of my consideration. Needless to say, everyone needs work-life-balance. However, being top players does not give them favorable choices between spending hard time on training or being with friends and family. It is their commitment to the community, the country and their own success, require them to devote themselves to the career. More remarkably, it is a common practice that the top players are continuously viewed by the media and public. The thing is, what makes them famous also can cause them no less discomfort, embarrassment and sometimes, trouble. The same practice applied to their relative too. By and large, an over-the-average income may not be overpaid to compensate this ordeal.
In summary, occupation requisites, social impacts, and the personal losses are the major reasons make athletes and entertainers seemingly profitable people. I really recommend that people should consider my discussion into consideration while giving out any argument against their earnings.
